In the fourth meeting of endowments divan in Asharqia Chamber.
The Secretary General of the Princess Anoud
charity institution, Dr. Yousef bin Othman Al Huzaim, stressed in the presentation
of the experience of Princess Anoud charity institution, that basically the endowments is to preserve the capital, and improving
it through low risk investments, and through real estate diversified portfolios
for their significant role in achieving sustainability
of charity work, because they fall within the framework of medium and low risk
investments.
Al
Huzaim noted that the most serious decision in charities is the Board of
Directors formation, advising the future businessmen to engage in charity work
to diversify the board members, stressing that this diversification in Princess
Anoud charity institution benefited it a lot in the permanence and continuity,
stressing the importance of reformulating the
relationship between the entities of the charity work and human resource inside,
because of its positive effect on the stability of workers and then charity
work.
This
was in the fourth meeting of Endowments Divan held by Asharqia Chamber represented
in the center of social responsibility, the evening of Wednesday, December 28th, and witnessed a remarkable
presence of the Eastern Province businessmen,
judges and interested figures and specialists in the field of endowments.
Al Huzaim explained that Princess Anoud charity institution is the investment
arm of the Princess Anoud charity
institution, referring to the organization main goal was the best investment of
all real estate and financial resources of the institution, which is estimated of
1.6 billion riyals.
Al Huzaim the Foundation seeks to self
improve these investments through local and international alliances to achieve
the best possible returns, which directly go to the Princess Anoud charity institution
to support and develop its diverse charity plans, pointing that most Anoud
Investment projects is Princess Anoud Tower, which is the third biggest tower in Riyadh, Princess Anoud second Tower and a group of real estates in a number
of cities in the Kingdom in addition to the financial portfolio.
Al Huzaim explained the importance of the Department of Awqaf by
the mentality of the project manager, and that every step which is managed by
specialized companies, so to move away from going into details to reduce the
risk of the implementation, considering that
what has been achieved for the Princess Anoud
institution of the sustainability is the
result of following what he called ( give the bowto its creator), means the originating of the idea of
specialization, and also to the process of separation between senior
management and executive management, stressing that this separation would make way for management
science and economics and finance to practice the work fully, pointing that there is a separation also between Anoud Charity and Anoud Investment that
happened even geographically between the two to prevent any interference.
Al
Huzaim advised the need to measure the reaction
of charity work by people, and that is
by charities spotting the effect from
time to time of what they offer to people, urging that the proportion of young people in
the work of charities is the highest, pointing that the working group in Anoud
featuring 70 youngman and 30 of the elder
people, stressing that the youth adds vitality
to the institution by giving new ideas.
In
the end of the meeting, the Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulrahman
bin Abdullah Al Wabel, presented a memorial shield to the Secretary General of
the Princess Anoud Charity Institution, Dr. Yousef bin Othman Al Huzaim.
